What We Believe

What does the Bible say about the Authority of the Scripture?  The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul:  the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.  The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.  Psalm 19:7-8

What does the Bible say about who Jesus is?   He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matthew 16:15-16

What does the Bible say about our mission on earth?   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.  Matthew 28:19-20

What does the Bible say about sharing your story of faith?  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  Acts 1:8

What does the Bible say about believer's baptism?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  Romans 6:4

What does the Bible say about obeying authority?  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.  For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.  Romans 13:1-2

What does the Bible say about your money?  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7

What does the Bible say about the Security of the Believer?    For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39

What does the Bible say about holiness?  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.  1 Peter 1:16

What does the Bible say about our relationship to God?  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light.  1 Peter 2:9
